50 th Founding Anniversary excites Literary-Musical match Six category of competitions including Quiz Bee attended the Literary-Musical contests 2019 as it took the chance to participate with PCC’S 50 th Founding Anniversary Theme: “Blazing a golden trail of excellent education in the health sciences” from October 1 to 2. “Song and Dance Competition” held on October 1 in the afternoon at the covered court where participants’ talents gracefully clashed from the beginning of the show up to showdown. Medwin P. Rodas from College of Pharmacy won the 1st place in Vocal Solo category while both Pelda D. Malaregis from College of Nursing and Jemimah C. Boniol from College of Dentistry were judged as 2 nd placers; Rhelle B. Aliping from College of Medical Laboratory Science as 3 rd placer. Vocal Duet category favors Jhon Brail C. 50th Founding Eucharistic Celebration

  Eucharistic Celebration with Fr. Villapa begins PPC’s 50 th Founding Anniversary Events Rev. Fr. Benedict “Benny” Villapa, St. John Don Bosco Church Baguio parish priest, lead a mass in Pines City Colleges Covered Court on October 1, 2019 as part of the Eucharistic Celebration of the school’s 50 th Founding Anniversary and its events. Father Villapa while the mass gave his warmest congratulatory message to all the employees and students who became part of its 50-year and mentioned his gratitude for playing a role on the said celebration. Anniversary’s Motorcade afterwards navigated La Trinidad, Benguet and Baguio City’s main roads by the school’s colleges, offices, organizations, PCC Alumni Association Inc., and other “PCC family” folks next to their wheels. More occasion’s activities followed. Eduard Folayang teams up with PCC’s Intramurals 2019 opening Pines City Colleges commenced Intramurals 2019 with the theme “Going beyond sports” and set its 50th Founding Anniversary off the ground with Eduard “Landslide” Foloyang on Monday, September 23 at PCC Covered Court. Parade of School’s teaching and non-teaching staffs, teams and players, and the mascots unfastened the opening of the event as Mr. Wendel Lahaylahay, Entrance of Color Commander, set the Philippine and the PCC’s flag way in. Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Abigail T. Bersamin delivered welcoming remarks while Student Affairs and Guidance Services Office Head Mr. Jason P.   Pines City Colleges’ students ranked second place in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) quiz bee at the University of the Cordilleras Gymnasium on September 12, 2019. BS Respiratory Therapist students Davin June L. Dizon and Desiery K. Antonio, and BS Pharmacy student Ceny Lee M. Aglolo took silver medal as team PCC among 16 school participants from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) in the company of the school’s Students Affairs and Guidance Services Office (SAGSO) Officer Ms. Chermaline Cassiw. Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) organized the said event where Abra Institute of Science and Technology came in first while University of Baguio (UB) came up third. A community of mentally healthy individuals is therefore empowered, productive, and resilient. Promoting mental health covers a variety of strategies, which aims to have positive impact on mental health. It involves actions that create living conditions and environments to support mental health and allow people to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles. This includes programs and policies that aim to foster individual and community mental health towards healthy living.
